A study on the impact of HR analytics on operational productivity and service efficiency at Tech Mahindra , Nagpur

  • growing use of digital technologies in the organization processes has made a considerable change in the role of Human Resource Management (HRM), and the idea of HR Analytics as a strategic instrument of business emerged. The research is aimed at examining how HR analytics can affect the operational productivity and service efficiency, namely, referring to Tech Mahindra in Nagpur. HR analytics is a formal gathering, measurement, and analysis of workforce data to create actionable insights in order to improve decision-making and organizational performance. In the modern IT services industry where human capital constitutes the most important resource, streamlined performance of the workforce and effective provision of services is key in ensuring the company remains competitive. HR analytics uses the newest technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics to track employee behavior, forecast results, and enhance HR activities. The paper will examine the role of these analytical tools in ensuring inefficiencies are minimized, resource allocation is done more efficiently, employee engagement is enhanced, and services are delivered more efficiently. The study uses a descriptive, conceptual approach that is founded on the secondary sources of data, i.e., industry reports, company insights, and academic sources. It analyzes the HR functions of recruitment, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement using analytics as the driving force. These results indicate that HR analytics has a high potential in improving the productivity of operations by detecting gaps in performance, minimizing manual interventions, and facilitating real-time tracking of the workforce. It also enhances efficiency of the services by automating routine HR procedures, minimizing turnaround, and making it easier and quicker to make decisions. The paper draws a conclusion that HR analytics is not only an innovation in technology but also a business need of organizations, which want to pursue sustainable development and business excellence. It emphasizes the need to incorporate analytics in HR practices to make the workforce ability to match the organizational objectives to establish a competitive edge in the digital age.
