abstract = {Many students in India do not get the opportunity to perform real laboratory experiments. While well-equipped urban schools allow students to carry out activities such as titrations and verification of Ohm’s law using actual instruments, students in several rural and under-resourced schools often rely only on theoretical explanations. This gap limits their practical understanding of scientific concepts. To address this issue, ARISE (Advanced Remote Interactive Science Environment) has been developed as a browser-based virtual laboratory. The platform enables students to perform physics and chemistry experiments interactively by adjusting parameters, initiating reactions, and observing real-time outputs using only a laptop/PC and an internet connection. The system is built using ReactJS, GSAP, SVG, and Plotly.js to support dynamic simulations and visualizations. In addition, it includes a proctored quiz module that uses tab-switch detection and webcam monitoring to maintain the integrity of assessments. A recommendation engine powered by FastAPI leverages collaborative filtering along with DistilBERT and TF-IDF techniques to suggest experiments tailored to each student’s learning progress.},
