abstract = {The increasing demand for energy efficiency and sustainable industrial practices has made it more important than ever to develop better ways to control electric motors. Three-phase induction motors are used a lot in industrial settings and use a big portion of the world's electrical power. These motors often work under changing load conditions, and running them at a constant speed when the load varies leads to a lot of wasted energy. This paper describes the design and setup of a three-phase variable-speed induction motor drive system that helps save energy and control speed more effectively. The system uses a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) that is based on energy electronics, including a rectifier, a DC link, and a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inverter. These components help control the frequency and voltage supplied to the motor. A closed-loop control system is used, which gets feedback from a speed sensor to adjust the motor speed in real time based on the load. The control method keeps the voltage-to-frequency (V/f) ratio constant, which ensures the motor runs efficiently and with minimal losses. The system is designed to use less energy by adjusting the motor speed rather than using older methods like throttling or braking, which are not very efficient. By running the motor at the right speed, there is a big drop in energy use and operating costs. The system also provides smooth acceleration, less mechanical stress, and better reliability.},
