Chikki is a digital being that combines traditional desktop companion software with cutting-edge conversational AI to make it more interesting and aware of its surroundings. The system is built on a strong Python stack. It uses PySide6 to make a non-intrusive, animated, cross-platform graphical interface and PyAudio to let people talk to each other in real time. Gemini AI is what the core intelligence uses to understand language better and create personalised responses. The LangChain framework carefully coordinates all of this. With this integration, Chikki can keep track of the context of a conversation, remember user preferences over time, and change its personality.
