  • The fast changing digital communication technologies have revolutionized the outlook of human resource management, especially in the areas of recruitment and employer branding. The investigation of the research study is on how social media influences the efficiency of the recruitment process and employer branding strategies in Tata Consultancy Services, Nagpur. Entering an ever competitive talent market, organizations are no longer adhering to the past routines of hiring talents but have adopted more dynamic methods based on technology, and social media sites are to the forefront of this change. The main aim of the research is to examine the role of social media sites like Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter in achieving the recruitment process, attracting candidates, and perception of employer brand. The study takes a descriptive research design which brings together both qualitative and quantitative study. The primary data have been gathered by means of structured questionnaires which are given to job feedback, fresh graduates and the employees working with the IT industry, whereas the secondary data have been obtained by academic journals, industry and reputable online blogs. The research results show that social media is an effective way of recruiting since it increases the influence of talent pool to wider and more diversified ones, where passive job seekers who might be unreachable in traditional recruitment methods are found. It also saves time and the cost attached to the process of hiring and enhances the quality of those who are hired by enhancing screening and availability of data. Furthermore, candidates have a better way of experiencing the employment process due to the social media platforms, which provide opportunity to interact with the employer in real-time and engage with them.Regarding employer branding, the paper points out that a robust and well-reinforced use of social media has a positive impact on perceptions of the organization by the candidates. Tata Consultancy Services makes the best use of social media to present its organizational culture, experiences, corporate values, and potential growth opportunities to employees. This openness and interaction foster trust and credibility adherence and emotional bond with potential workers. The research also confirms that applicants tend to submit their applications to employers whose social media is very organized and active as an indicator of innovativeness, receptiveness and positive work culture.
