abstract = {The Goods and Services Tax (GST) system in India has simplified the indirect taxation structure but has introduced significant complexity in compliance processes such as invoice management, expense tracking, tax computation, and return filing. Many businesses and tax professionals still rely on manual or semi-automated methods, which are time-consuming, error-prone, and lack real-time insights. To address these challenges, this research proposes a Smart GST Filing System with AI Automation, designed as an intelligent and centralized platform for streamlining GST compliance and financial management. The system integrates advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to automate key workflows, including invoice data extraction, tax calculation, anomaly detection, and return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Built on a scalable layered architecture comprising a modern web frontend, robust backend services, AI-driven modules, and a secure relational database, the platform provides a unified environment for managing clients, invoices, expenses, and transactions. It also features real-time dashboards and reporting tools that offer clear visibility into tax liabilities, Input Tax Credit (ITC), and compliance status, enabling informed decision-making. By reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and ensuring timely filings, the proposed system enhances efficiency, transparency, and scalability in GST compliance, making it a practical solution for modern businesses and tax professionals in the digital economy.},
