abstract = {Climate change is well known as a serious international issue, which has impact on natural ecosystems and human communities. Global warming has been caused by the gradual rise in the emission of greenhouse gases caused by industrial processes, deforestation and the rapid urbanization process. This has caused the sea level to rise, change the precipitation patterns and the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events.
This paper focuses on the implications of climate change more broadly, and specifically on how data-driven solutions and artificial intelligence are used in climate modeling and prediction. The review of climate data between 2000 and 2020 shows that there is an overall increase in the global temperatures over the last 20 years, which is consistent with the results provided in the current literature on science.
Recent advances in AI-based forecasting, climate resilience approaches, and policy actions focused on sustainability are also taken into account in the paper. The results indicate that climate change needs to be dealt with through a comprehensive approach that will involve technological advancement, the use of data-based decisions, and global policy actions.},
