abstract = {Working Capital Management (WCM) is a significant element of financial management that directly determines the liquidity, profitability and efficiency of firm operations of a firm. The current research is aimed at studying the working capital management in Ferro Oiltek Pvt. Ltd., Malkapur, Buldhana and the effect they have on business performance. Some of the important elements assessed in the study with reference to financial ratios and cash conversion cycle include cash management, inventory control, receivables, and payables. The study uses a descriptive and analytical methodology, as it will examine the financial statements and internal company records as secondary data. The results have shown that effective utilisation of working capital will result in better liquidity status, less operational risk and higher profitability. The paper also indicates that reduced cash conversion cycle plays a significant role in enhancing financial performance. This paper has concluded that the ideal balance between current assets and current liabilities is crucial to business development and competitive ability in the manufacturing industry. The research offers some useful information to financial managers in terms of enhancing the working capital efficiency and general business performance.},
