abstract = {— The employee engagement is a construct that has become pivotal in the organizational behavior and it has played a significant role on employee performance and productivity as a whole. In this research paper, the connection between the engagement of employees and their productivity in Cropgate Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur, an expanding company in the agrochemical industry is examined. The research will seek to determine how much the engagement drivers, including effectiveness of leadership in organisations, organisation culture, communication practices, recognition systems, and career development opportunities can help organisations to improve employee productivity. The study takes descriptive and analytical research design and employs primary and secondary data. Structured questionnaires were used to collect primary data which were distributed to employees and secondary data were collected using academic journals, research articles, and company related documents. The data were interpreted using statistical instruments including percentages and correlation methods, which were used to derive variables relations. The results demonstrate a high positive interrelationship between employee engagement and productivity, which means that employees, who are cognitively and emotionally engaged, are most likely to show greater efficiency, commitment, and quality of work. Another finding of the study is the importance of the following factors in the process of engagement development; timely recognition, transparent communication, supportive leadership, and professional growth opportunities. On the other hand, absence of such factors may result into disengagement, low level of morale, and decreased level of productivity. Moreover, the study lays an emphasis on the significance of strategic human resource in nurturing an engaged workforce. It comes to a conclusion that employee engagement is not just an employee psychological but a strategic driver that has a direct contribution to organizational effectiveness and competitive advantage. The study suggests that, structured engagement programs, ongoing feedback programs and policies that are people-oriented ought to be initiated in organizations such as Cropgate Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. to maintain the high rate of productivity and realization of long term growth.},
