  • Abstract:
  • The way students learn and carry their study materials has not changed much over the decades. Heavy school bags, scattered notes, and missed assignments are still common problems. This project, Digital School Bag, is an attempt to change that. Digital School Bag is a web-based platform that brings together academic management and student creativity under one roof. It allows teachers to upload notes and assignments digitally, while students can access them anytime, submit their work online, and receive feedback all without a single sheet of paper. The system operates in real time, meaning any update made by a teacher appears instantly on the student's dashboard, creating a truly live and connected classroom experience. Beyond academics, the platform includes a Talent Showcase module, where students can share their creative work videos, artwork, or coding projects and receive recognition through likes, comments, and monthly leaderboards. Built using React, Java Spring Boot, and MySQL, the system supports four user roles: Admin, School Head, Teacher, and Student. Together, these features make education more accessible, engaging, and paperless, preparing students not just to study, but to grow.
