abstract = {In the twenty-first century, globalization has become a major force that shapes the way economies, societies, cultures, and political systems work. This research article rigorously analyzes the causes and effects of globalization, assessing its multifaceted impact. The research employs a doctrinal and analytical methodology utilizing secondary data sources, including books, journal articles, policy reports, and publications from international institutions. Technological progress, trade liberalization, foreign direct investment, and the growth of multinational corporations are some of the main factors that have led to globalization. The results show that globalization has played a big role in boosting the economy, creating more jobs, and bringing the world together. But it has also led to income inequality, cultural homogenization, and threats to national sovereignty. Globalization has made it easier for people to get an education and talk to each other, but it has also made social differences bigger. Politically, it has made global governance systems stronger while making states less free to make their own decisions. The study finds that globalization is a double-edged sword that needs balanced rules and policies that include everyone in order to make sure that development is fair and long-lasting.},
