  • Abstract:
  • Cyber-security threats continue to evolve, necessitating proactive measures to safeguard systems and networks. One such measure is the implementation of SSH (Secure Shell) honeypots, designed to detect and deflect malicious activities targeting SSH services. This paper presents the design and deployment of an SSH honeypot infrastructure that leverages emulation and deception techniques to attract attackers. By analyzing the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries, the system provides valuable insights to strengthen defense mechanisms. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of honeypots in enhancing cyber-security posture and supporting threat intelligence research.
