        abstract = {Optimization of operational costs has emerged as one of the critical strategic issues of organizations that are pursuing sustainable growth and competitive positioning in an ever more dynamic business world. This paper relates the theory of operational cost optimization and analyzes the contribution of operational cost optimization to the efficiency of any organization with special reference to Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd specifically relating to the industrial growth and operational orientation of the company in Nagpur. Their theoretical foundation of the research is based on the theoretical aspects of cost management, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence, the focus of which is on removing waste, effective use of resources, and unceasing improvement. The paper notes the use of new technologies, including automation, artificial intelligence, and digital supply chains that are helping modern organizations optimize operations and save unnecessary costs. In Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, cost optimization does not exist as a financial operation but a strategic plan that has been incorporated in the production process, logistics management and decision-making systems. The results indicate that effective cost optimization policies have a lot in terms of enhancing productivity, increasing process efficiency and further promoting performance of an organization. The paper concludes that convergence of cost-cutting strategies with the technological innovation and process enhancement models results in the long run sustainability and efficiency of operation.},
