Rapid environmental degradation, climate change, biodiversity loss, emerging diseases, and food insecurity necessitate innovative educational frameworks integrating sustainability within life sciences curricula. In the Indian context, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes multidisciplinary learning, experiential education, and environmental awareness, making life sciences education a strategic platform for achieving sustainable development objectives. This paper examines the alignment between life sciences education, SDGs, and NEP 2020 priorities.
