abstract = {Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in driving economic development by fostering innovation, generating employment, and enhancing productivity. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the relationship between entrepreneurship and economic growth, examining how startups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and technological innovation contribute to national and global economies. The study draws upon and expands five recent peer-reviewed research streams: (1) a systematic literature review (SLR) of entrepreneurship education in electrical, electronic, and computer (EEC) engineering curricula covering 84 primary sources; (2) a qualitative investigation of gender differences in engineering entrepreneurship program (EEP) participation through 20 student interviews; (3) a mixed-methods case study of Productivity Enhancing Technology Experience Kits (PETE-Kits) for rural entrepreneurship education; (4) a structural equation modeling (SEM) study of entrepreneurial intention among Chinese university students; and (5) a quasi-experimental comparative analysis of servicelearning vs. traditional instruction for social entrepreneurship in STEM. Key findings reveal that project-based learning dominates engineering entrepreneurship pedagogy; perceived behavioral control and subjective norms are stronger drivers of entrepreneurial intention than formal course participation; gender-inclusive design of entrepreneurship programs requires moving beyond pitch-competition formats; rural communities can meaningfully enter the digital economy through structured SCT curricula; and service learning produces significantly superior outcomes in problem-solving, knowledge application, and civic awareness relative to traditional instruction. The paper concludes that strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems through policy alignment, curriculum innovation, and community engagement is essential for sustainable economic progress.},
