        abstract = {The quick growth of online services has made development of web one of the key roles of the IT organizations. With applications being increasingly interactive, data-intensive and user-focused, there is a great deal of increased significance of structured, secure and well-maintained databases. Database Administration (DBA) makes sure that the base of these applications is stable, efficient and scalable. The study examines the value of database administration in web development projects at MBIG IT Services Pvt. Ltd. with respect to improvement in performance, enhancement in security and facilitation of development. It was a descriptive and analytical study that combined the observational observations with secondary research. Findings show that DBA is a major factor in enhancing the response time of applications, minimization of failures, and data integrity, as well as stronger integration between the back and frontend systems. The research finally concludes that effective DBA practices are the key to quality and sustainable web development activities.},
