        abstract = {In the modern digital era, the demand for contin-uous skill development has surged due to rapid technological advancements and evolving industry requirements, yet traditional learning methods reliant on paid courses and formal institutions impose financial and accessibility barriers for many learners, par-ticularly in emerging economies like India. SkillSwap addresses these challenges as a peer-to-peer skill exchange platform that facilitates collaborative learning without monetary transactions through a credit-based barter model. Users earn credits by teaching proficient skills and redeem them to acquire new ones from peers, with anonymous reviews ensuring quality and trust. Developed as a cross-platform application using Flutter for mobile devices and React for web interfaces, the system leverages Firebase as a backend-as-a-service for secure authentication, real-time database management, and cloud storage. Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing techniques are integrated to semantically analyze user-entered skill descriptions, enabling intelligent and personalized matching between learners and teachers.
