  • Abstract:
  • The rapid adoption of intelligent automation technologies has reshaped multiple business functions, yet the deliberate convergence of human resource operations with digital promotional activities remains insufficiently examined in academic literature. This research investigates how machine learning and cognitive computing platforms enable seamless integration between workforce management processes and customer-facing digital communication strategies within selected Indian online retail and software development organizations. Using a sequential mixed-method design, complemented by detailed interviews with six technology implementation officers who oversee AI deployment across departmental boundaries. The anticipated results indicate a robust affirmative connection between AI-facilitated cross-functional synergy and business responsiveness, with shared data accessibility and workforce digital proficiency serving as intermediary factors that explain this relationship. The study concludes that isolated AI adoption within individual departments produces lower organizational benefits compared to strategically unified implementation across HR and marketing functions. Actionable recommendations include developing joint training curricula, implementing unified performance visualization dashboards, and establishing ethical guidelines for algorithm-driven decision making that spans both employee and customer data domains.
