        abstract = {The hospitality industry operates in a dynamic and high-risk environment where effective security and loss prevention strategies are essential for maintaining operational efficiency and financial stability. This study explores the application of forensic science principles in enhancing loss prevention and security management within hotel operations. Drawing on observational data collected during internship training, the research examines key practices such as material verification, document authentication, CCTV analysis, and communication systems used by security personnel. Emphasis is placed on forensic concepts including evidence preservation, chain of custody, and systematic documentation in handling incidents such as internal theft and financial discrepancies. The study also highlights the role of ethical discipline, professional conduct, and structured communication in reducing operational risks. Findings indicate that integrating forensic approaches into routine security procedures significantly improves investigation accuracy, accountability, and transparency. Additionally, the study reveals that technological tools and financial monitoring systems contribute to proactive risk management. Despite growing awareness, the lack of formal forensic training among security personnel remains a limitation. The research concludes that adopting forensic-based investigative frameworks in hospitality security operations enhances organizational control, minimizes losses, and strengthens overall service quality.},
