        abstract = {This term paper is a study of the investment management framework of Uber Technologies Inc. but within the contextual framework of its strategic implications to the Nagpur market. Capital allocation and risk mitigation is key in the fast-changing gig economy and mobility economy to continue its growth and competitive advantage. The research is based on the descriptive and analytical methodology and is based on secondary data, which includes financial reports of Uber, industry analysis, and academic sources of 2018-24. It appraises the way in which Uber balances strict financial measures with strategic and innovation-oriented investments in such aspects as autonomous technology and market growth. The comparison is made on the relationship between the management of risk, profitability, and strategic long-term objective. The results show that Uber utilizes a hybrid investment strategy, combining rigorous financial scrutiny and vigorous investment in intangible assets and new lines. The paper ends by extracting the best practices in investment management of technology-oriented companies in dynamic and capital-intensive business settings such as the emerging urban mobility industry in Nagpur.},
