abstract = {The rise of Industry 4.0 has set off a profound shift in how supply chains are designed, managed, and experienced. This paper takes a close look at how the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies is transforming traditional logistics operations into highly responsive, data-driven ecosystems. At its core, the study examines how tools like the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, big data analytics, robotics, and blockchain are enabling organizations to move beyond slow, fragmented processes and toward smarter, more connected supply networks. Drawing on both primary survey data collected from 41 industry respondents and recent academic literature, this paper discusses how these technologies fuel real-time visibility, sharper decision-making, and stronger collaboration across the supply chain. It also honestly addresses the challenges that come with this shift — from cybersecurity concerns and talent gaps to the difficulty of integrating new systems with legacy infrastructure. The findings reveal that AI is seen as the most transformative technology, while lack of skilled workforce remains the dominant adoption barrier. The paper concludes by proposing a conceptual framework and practical strategies to guide future digital transformation efforts in supply chain management.},
