abstract = {The increasing volume of waste generated globally poses significant environmental and health challenges. Traditional waste management systems often rely on manual sorting, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and prone to errors. This paper presents an IoT-based smart bin system that leverages sensors, machine learning, and automation to accurately segregate waste into different categories (e.g.,wet and Metallic). The system uses real-time data analytics and computer vision to identify waste types and automate the segregation process. The smart bin is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling remote monitoring and data analysis. Our system demonstrates improved waste segregation accuracy, reduced contamination rates, and enhanced operational efficiency. The proposed solution has the potential to revolutionize waste management practices, promoting sustainability, reducing environmental impact, and improving public health.},
