  • Abstract:
  • The Internet of Things (IoT) represents a rapidly growing paradigm that enables interconnected devices to communicate, collect, and exchange data through the internet. This research paper examines the impact of IoT on software development, with particular emphasis on its role in a specific application domain. The study explores how the integration of IoT technologies transforms traditional software development processes by introducing requirements such as real-time data handling, scalability, interoperability, and enhanced security mechanisms. The paper analyzes modern software development approaches used in IoT environments, including cloud-based architectures, edge computing, and agile development practices. It further investigates how these approaches support the design and implementation of efficient and reliable IoT applications. A case-based discussion of the selected application demonstrates the practical implications of IoT in improving system performance, automation, and decision-making capabilities.
