Campabook : Iot Kit For Safety And Booking Of Vehicle

  • The proposed system integrates a web-based vehicle booking platform with IoT-enabled hardware to improve passenger safety and security. In addition to standard ride-booking features such as driver tracking and communication, the system incorporates intelligent monitoring of in-vehicle conditions. Various sensors, including GPS, gas, temperature, fire, and infrared modules, continuously collect environmental data to ensure real-time situational awareness. The IoT module, developed using Python, processes sensor data and communicates with a Java-based application to deliver instant alerts during abnormal conditions. In case of emergencies, such as fire hazards or harmful gas detection, the system automatically notifies users and relevant authorities. By combining smart monitoring with ride-booking functionality, the system enhances travel safety, minimizes risks, and improves response time in critical situations.
