  • Abstract:
  • The Crime Investigation Management System (CIMS) is a web-based platform designed to digitize and streamline criminal case management. This paper demonstrates improvement in efficiency of storing, retrieving, and analyzing case data. It integrates Artificial Intelligence using Natural Language Processing to analyze case descriptions, extract key entities, and generate embeddings. These embeddings enable similarity detection between cases, helping investigators identify patterns and connections quickly. Additional features such as timeline tracking, suspect linking, and evidence management further enhance investigation efficiency. This paper illustrates how AI-driven insights can support better decision-making in crime investigation.
