Real-Time Gender Detection using Webcam based on Deep Learning

  • Real-time gender detection is a significant application of computer vision and artificial intelligence, widely used in surveillance systems, human-computer interaction, and targeted marketing. This paper presents a real-time gender detection system using deep learning techniques. The system utilizes OpenCV for face detection and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for classification. It processes live webcam input and predicts gender efficiently with low latency. The proposed model achieves approximately 92% accuracy while maintaining real-time performance. This system can be applied in surveillance, human-computer interaction, and smart analytics.
