  • Abstract:
  • Aquaculture has emerged as a vital sector for meeting the increasing global demand for seafood. However, maintaining optimal water quality is critical for ensuring healthy aquatic life and maximizing productivity. Traditional monitoring methods are often manual, time-consuming, and prone to human error. This paper presents an Internet of Things (IoT)-based real-time aquaculture monitoring system designed to continuously track key water quality parameters such as temperature and turbidity. The proposed system integrates sensors, an Esp 32 Dev Kit Cam, ultrasonic water level sensor, and personal web-page data analytics to provide real-time insights and alerts to farmers. The system enables remote monitoring through a mobile or web interface, improving decision-making and reducing risks associated with water quality fluctuations. Experimental results demonstrate improved efficiency, reduced mortality rates, and enhanced sustainability in aquaculture operations. This project presents a smart aquaculture monitoring and water quality system using an ESP32-S3 CAM with an OV3660 camera. The system applies embedded computer vision to detect fish and monitor their activity in real time. It integrates sensors such as a DS18B20 temperature probe, ultrasonic water level sensor and water quality sensor to measure environmental conditions. The collected data is processed on the ESP32-S3 and displayed locally or through a web interface. The system design to monitor aquaculture environments and water parameters for healthy aquatic life. It provides a cost-effective and intelligent solution for modern aquaculture and environmental management.
