abstract = {Herbal and nutraceutical compounds have gained considerable interest in managing neurological movement disorders, particularly Tourette Syndrome (TS) and other tic disorders. The objective of the present research is to formulate and evaluate a tablet dosag e form combining L- Theanine and Vitamin B12 to manage tic disorders and Tourette Syndrome. L-Theanine, a naturally occurring amino acid predominantly found in green tea (Camellia sinensis), exhibits anxiolytic, neuroprotective, and GABAergic modulatory properties that may help suppress involuntary motor and vocal tics. Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin) plays a critical role in neurological function, myelin sheath maintenance, and neurotransmitter synthesis, supporting the neurological pathways involved in tic regulation. Tablet formulations were prepared using standard wet granulation and direct compression methods with suitable excipients. The formulations were evaluated for various physicochemical parameters including weight variation, hardness, friability, disintegration time, dissolution profile, and stability. The evaluation results indicate that the optimized tablet formulation is pharmaceutically acceptable, stable, and holds potential as a safe nutraceutical approach for the management of Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders.},
