  • Abstract:
  • The rapid evolution of energy systems has led to the increasing adoption of smart energy resources within modern smart grid infrastructures. Smart energy resources, including distributed energy resources (DERs) such as solar photovoltaic, wind turbines, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles, play a crucial role in enhancing grid flexibility, reliability, and sustainability. This paper examines the integration of these resources into smart grid technologies and their impact on energy generation, distribution, and consumption. The study discusses key enabling technology such as use of Smart Energy Resources that facilitate efficient energy management system. It further highlights how smart energy resources contribute to reducing carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, and enabling decentralized power generation. The findings demonstrate that the effective utilization of smart energy resources is essential for the development of resilient, efficient, and sustainable smart grids, paving the way for future energy systems.
