  • Abstract:
  • The agricultural sector in India has long been reliant on manual labour which has made it susceptible to other factors such as water shortage, unpredictable power supply and lack of skilled labour. These have greatly affected the productivity and the growth of the economy. To alleviate these problems, this paper is presenting a novel solution that is an Arduino- based automated multipurpose agricultural robot. The proposed robot will combine solar-powered energy to ensure sustainability in its operation and incorporate functionalities such as smart irrigation to reduce water loss, accurate digging and seed sowing, and controlled dispensing of water. The system, using an Arduino Uno microcontroller and L298N motor drivers, provides the system with an accurate and efficient execution of tasks. Mechanical design and electronic circuits are used to optimize farming process, to decrease the reliance on the manual work and operational expenses. This study reveals that automation and renewable energy have the potential to revolutionize traditional agriculture, making it more sustainable and efficient. The new system aligns with the current challenges in agriculture and helps to develop the system to the next generation.
