        abstract = {This research paper examines the major challenges preventing India from becoming a leading hub for AAA game development. Although India has one of the largest gaming populations in the world, the country still lacks globally recognized AAA game studios capable of competing with companies from the United States, Japan, Canada, and Europe. AAA game development requires large budgets, advanced technology, highly skilled teams, and long production cycles. Indian studios often struggle with funding limitations, technical infrastructure issues, lack of experienced talent, and market uncertainty. The study explores industry limitations, educational gaps, financial barriers, and market dynamics affecting the Indian gaming ecosystem. It also includes a questionnaire-based research approach to gather opinions from developers and students involved in game production. The findings suggest that despite India’s growing gaming audience and talented youth population, several structural challenges continue to slow the development of high-quality AAA games. However, the research also highlights future opportunities for growth through improved education, investment, government support, and industry collaboration.},
