  • Violence and harassment against women remain critical societal challenges globally, necessitating the development of intelligent, technology-driven safety solutions. This research paper presents the design, architecture, and implementation of a Women's Safety Web Application built using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. The proposed system incorporates real-time emergency alerting, GPS-based location tracking, a peer safety network, an incident reporting module, and community resource sharing. The paper examines the technical architecture, system design decisions, security considerations, and societal impact of the proposed solution, while situating it within the broader landscape of existing safety technologies. Findings suggest that a well-engineered MERN stack application can meaningfully enhance personal safety outcomes by providing accessible, scalable, and reliable digital infrastructure for women in distress.
