abstract = {Academic pressures, intense parental expectations, and upcoming board examinations expose higher secondary students to severe chronic stress, which frequently precipitates maladaptive behavioral habits [5]. Qigong combines low impact rhythmic movement, deep abdominal respiration, and focused mindfulness to support holistic physical and psychological equilibrium [3],[4]. This study evaluated the systematic deployment of a 2 week Qigong Shibashi training regimen among school going adolescents. A quantitative quasi experimental pre test/post test control group design was conducted among 80 secondary school students aged 14–15 years ((n=40) experimental cohort at DM&R Higher Secondary School; (n=40) control cohort at LPN Girls Higher Secondary School). Data collection was executed using the standardized Student Stress Inventory (SSI) and the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISS) [1]. Baseline evaluations revealed a uniform prevalence of moderate to severe stress alongside weak, avoidance focused coping structures across both study groups [2],[5]. Post intervention data demonstrated a highly significant statistical reduction in stress indices alongside a distinct upgrade toward task oriented adaptive coping strategies strictly within the experimental cohort (p < 0.05) [3],[6]. The findings validate that school based mind body therapeutic routines offer a practical, non invasive solution to alleviate academic anxiety and foster teenage emotional resilience.},
