However, most existing approaches treat yoga as an isolated activity rather than as an interconnected system influencing multiple dimensions of human functioning. This paper proposes a systems-theory framework to conceptualize yogic practices within contemporary physical education. Drawing upon general systems theory, exercise science, and traditional yogic philosophy, the study develops an integrative model that positions yoga as a dynamic, adaptive subsystem within the broader physical education environment. The framework highlights interrelations among physiological regulation, neuromuscular coordination, cognitive engagement, behavioral adaptation, and environmental interaction. By viewing yogic training through systemic interdependence rather than linear cause-effect mechanisms, the model explains how consistent practice generates cumulative adaptations across bodily systems. The paper further outlines pedagogical implications, curriculum integration strategies, and measurable fitness outcomes aligned with physical education objectives.
