The UI/UX Specialist: Bridging The Digital Divide

  • Unique Paper ID: 202387
  • Volume: 12
  • Issue: 12
  • PageNo: 7453-7457
  • Abstract:
  • Digital technologies have reshaped modern life, yet a significant portion of the global population continues to face barriers when interacting with digital systems. This paper investigates how UI/UX specialists can act as practitioners of digital equity by constructing interfaces that embed inclusion from the outset rather than treating it as an afterthought. Grounded in established usability frameworks, accessibility standards, and current HCI literature, a five-layer Inclusive UI/UX Design Framework (IUDF) is developed and validated through analysis of an inclusive service platform designed for diverse user populations.
