  • The rapid integration of digital technologies into education has generated large volumes of educational data, creating opportunities for data-driven instructional practices. Predictive analytics, which employs statistical techniques, machine learning, and data mining to forecast educational outcomes, has emerged as a transformative tool in modern education systems. This paper examines the role of predictive analytics in enhancing teacher decision-making by improving instructional planning, identifying at-risk learners, personalizing learning experiences, and supporting timely interventions. The study reviews contemporary literature on educational data mining, learning analytics dashboards, and artificial intelligence-based educational systems. It further discusses practical applications, benefits, challenges, ethical concerns, and future directions of predictive analytics in teaching and learning. The paper concludes that predictive analytics significantly strengthens evidence-based pedagogical decisions when combined with teacher expertise and ethical data practices.
