  • Abstract:
  • Herbal pain killer gel is a topical analgesic formulation developed using natural plant-based ingredients as an alternative to synthetic pain relievers. Conventional Pain killer is widely used for pain and fever management, but long-term use may cause adverse effects. Hence, there is growing interest in herbal formulations that provide similar analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects with improved safety. This gel is prepared by incorporating extracts of medicinal plants such as turmeric powder, rose water, glycerine and Honey into a suitable gel base. These herbal ingredients possess natural analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties, making them effective for relieving muscle pain, joint pain, and minor injuries. Herbal gels act locally at the site of application, reducing systemic side effects and improving patient compliance. Studies have shown that phytotherapeutic topical gels can provide significant pain relief and may even show better outcomes compared to oral analgesics in certain conditions Additionally, such formulations are generally non-irritant, easy to apply, and have good spreadability and stability. Herbal pain relief gels have gained prominence as natural alternatives to synthetic analgesics due to their therapeutic benefits and side effects. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal pain relief gel using a blend of medicinal plant extracts known for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The objective is to develop a stable, effective, and safe gel that provides quick pain relief and enhances muscle relaxation. The research involves selecting key herbal ingredients based on their traditional and pharmacological benefits.
