  • Unique Paper ID: 202479
  • Volume: 12
  • Issue: 12
  • PageNo: 8897-8900
  • Abstract:
  • The rapid growth of digital technologies has significantly increased cybersecurity threats, necessitating advanced defense mechanisms. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool in cybersecurity, enabling proactive threat detection, automated response, and adaptive defense strategies. This paper explores the role of AI in cybersecurity, including its applications, benefits, challenges, and future directions. While AI enhances security capabilities, it also introduces new risks, such as adversarial attacks and misuse by cybercriminals. The study concludes that AI is both a powerful defense mechanism and a potential threat, requiring careful implementation and governance.
