abstract = {The construction industry plays a significant role in the economic and infrastructural development of every nation. However, traditional construction methods often face challenges such as low productivity, delays in project completion, cost overruns, design errors, poor coordination and material wastage. These issues directly affect the quality and efficiency of construction projects. Building Information Modeling (BIM) has emerged as an advanced digital technology that helps improve productivity and project performance. BIM provides an intelligent 3D model that integrates architectural, structural and management data into a single platform. It enables better planning, visualization, collaboration and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. This paper focuses on the study of productivity improvement in construction through BIM implementation. A comparative analysis was carried out between traditional construction methods and BIM-based methods using parameters such as work efficiency, coordination level, error reduction, time management and cost control. BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit were used for 3D modeling, 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation. The results show that BIM significantly improves work efficiency and coordination among stakeholders. It helps in early clash detection, which reduces design conflicts and rework during execution. BIM also provides accurate quantity take-off, reducing material wastage and estimation errors. Project scheduling becomes more effective through 4D simulation, leading to time savings. Cost management improves through 5D BIM by providing better budgeting and financial control. The study observed a considerable increase in overall productivity with BIM adoption. It also reduces project duration and enhances quality control. BIM supports sustainable construction practices through better resource utilization. The findings conclude that BIM is an efficient and reliable technology for modern construction projects. Therefore, BIM should be widely adopted in the construction industry to achieve higher productivity, better quality, and timely project completion.},
