abstract = {Women-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are increasingly recognized as critical drivers of inclusive and sustainable development, particularly in emerging economies. These enterprises contribute not only to economic growth but also to social empowerment and environmental sustainability, aligning closely with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, despite their growing presence, their full potential remains underutilized due to structural constraints.
This study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach to examine how women-led MSMEs catalyze progress toward the SDGs within a multi-sectoral framework. The analysis shows that these enterprises significantly contribute to poverty reduction, gender equality, job creation, and sustainable production. The study further highlights the central role of partnerships (SDG 17) in strengthening MSME ecosystems. However, barriers such as limited access to finance, digital exclusion, and socio-cultural constraints constrain their scalability. The study concludes with policy recommendations to enhance the role of women-led MSMEs in advancing sustainable development, particularly in India.},
