abstract = {Multivitamin-and-antioxidant herbal chocolate is an emerging nutraceutical formulation that combines the nutritional richness of vitamins, minerals, and bioactive herbal ingredients with the palatability and functional properties of cocoa. This review highlights the growing interest in herbal-fortified chocolates as a convenient delivery system for health-promoting compounds.
Dark chocolate is Inherently rich in polyphenols such as flavonoids, catechins, and procyanidins, which exhibit potent antioxidant, cardioprotective, and neuroprotective activities. The incorporation of herbal constituents like moringa, ashwagandha, turmeric, cinnamon, amla, tulsi, and ginseng further enhances its antioxidant capacity, immunomodulatory effects, and micronutrient profile.
