abstract = {The increased need to have transparency, data integrity, and accountability in government operations has seen the adoption of blockchain technology in government operations across various sectors. This project offers Tender X: a Blockchain-Based Government Tender Management and Public Audit System: a decentralized system aiming to enhance the security, transparency, and efficiency of government tenders between allocation and execution. Government departments post tenders which are accessed by registered contractors who submit bids using a blockchain-based infrastructure, such that all submissions are time-stamped, encrypted and immutable. A bid evaluation and tender allocation is controlled by an administrative module, and a public interface is provided, where citizens can follow the progress of tenders and make complaints. Bringing together blockchain guarantees end-to-end audit trail that will lead to public trust, reduced corruption, and increased efficiency within the tender lifecycle. This solution decentralizes trust and enables transparency and traceability, transforming the way governments manage and monitor infrastructure development, resource allocation, and accountability of the delivery of their services to the population.},
