abstract = {The Indian business ecosystem presents a unique dichotomy between the agility of start-ups and the structured stability of established organizations. This research paper examines the distinct recruitment challenges faced by these two types of entities within the Indian labour market. While start-ups struggle with limited employer branding, budgetary constraints, and the necessity for multi-role competency, established organizations grapple with bureaucratic hiring processes, cultural inertia, and high competition from comparable firms. Using a mixed-method approach involving a survey of 100 HR professionals across ten cities in India, this study identifies that start-ups face a 40% higher rejection rate from candidates due to job insecurity, whereas established organizations experience a 35% longer time-to-hire. The paper concludes that a hybrid recruitment model incorporating the flexibility of start- ups with the structured onboarding of established firms may offer a solution to India’s unique hiring friction.},
