        abstract = {Electric Vehicles (EVs) are rapidly becoming an essential component of sustainable transportation systems due to their environmental benefits and energy efficiency. The Battery Management System (BMS) is one of the most critical components in EV technology, responsible for monitoring, protecting, and optimizing battery performance. This review paper presents a comprehensive study of Electric Vehicle Battery Management Systems integrated with charge monitoring and fire protection mechanisms. The paper discusses battery technologies, BMS architecture; state monitoring techniques, charging control methods, thermal management systems, and fire detection and suppression strategies. Furthermore, recent advancements in smart BMS technologies using IoT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and wireless communication are reviewed. The study concludes that integrating charge monitoring with advanced fire protection improves battery safety, reliability, and operational lifespan in EV applications.},
