abstract = {The development of major transport corridors serves as a primary engine for regional economic growth and industrial expansion. The Tharad–Ahmedabad Expressway Corridor presents a strategic opportunity to build a highly connected industrial spine in western India. However, traditional corridor development often faces critical challenges, including uncoordinated land use, inefficient logistics, environmental degradation, and infrastructure bottlenecks. This study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Twin technology as advanced tools to optimize industrial planning and infrastructure management along the corridor. The research focuses on smart zoning, real-time logistics optimization, predictive infrastructure maintenance, environmental impact mitigation, and collaborative governance. Utilizing a qualitative research methodology based on planning documents, infrastructure frameworks, and global technological case studies, this paper analyzes how digital duplication and predictive algorithms can transform industrial corridors. The findings indicate that leveraging AI-driven Digital Twins enhances operational efficiency, reduces resource consumption, and ensures long-term economic and environmental sustainability. The study concludes that transitioning from conventional planning models to smart, data-driven spatial frameworks is essential for building resilient, future-ready industrial corridors.},
