abstract = {This study looks at how Denotified Tribes shown in Hindi movies. These groups have been treated unfairly. Marginalized for a long time because of a law called the Criminal Tribes Act. Hindi movies are important in creating and spreading ideas about these groups. This research uses ideas from Ferdinand de Saussure and Roland Barthes to understand the signs and symbols used in Hindi films to show Tribes. The study examines how stereotypes are shown in movies and how they are changed by norms like language, costumes and settings. The study finds that modern cinema is slowly showing Denotified Tribes in a nuanced way but there are still signs of marginalization.},
