abstract = {The skin multiplies ten times more quickly than normal when a person has psoriasis. Some of the most prevalent symptoms are red, itchy, scale-covered skin plaques. People with psoriasis may develop psoriatic arthritis, a form of arthritis. Usually, guttate psoriasis starts in childhood or early adulthood. People with psoriatic arthritis typically develop nail psoriasis. The pathophysiology of psoriasis includes inflammation, aberrant epidermal keratinocyte multiplication, hyperproliferation, and changes to the skin's immune system. An immune system issue is the root cause of inflammation. Although it can skip generations, psoriasis typically runs in families. Because psoriasis affects the immune system, stress, cold, and dry conditions exacerbate the condition's symptoms. Psoriasis cannot be cured, although even in severe cases, treatment can greatly lessen symptoms. Creams, ointments, gels, and other forms of steroids and retinoids are prescribed. Patients with mild to severe psoriasis can also get a variety of treatments. [1]},
