        abstract = {Road accidents are one of the leading causes of injuries and fatalities worldwide. Delays in emergency response often increase the severity of accident consequences. This paper presents a Smart Accident Detection System Using IoT that automatically detects road accidents and sends immediate alerts to emergency contacts and rescue services. The proposed system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller, accelerometer sensor, GPS module, and GSM communication module to monitor vehicle conditions in real time. When abnormal acceleration or impact is detected, the system identifies a potential accident, retrieves the vehicle's location, and transmits alert messages containing GPS coordinates. The system also updates an IoT dashboard for continuous monitoring and analysis. The proposed solution is cost-effective, reliable, and easy to implement, making it suitable for enhancing road safety and reducing emergency response time. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in detecting accidents and providing timely notifications.},
