abstract = {Job satisfaction is now widely recognized as being one of the most important determinants of employee productivity and organizational effectiveness. This current study will be carried out with a view to examining the effect of job satisfaction on employee productivity in relation to manufacturing and service sectors. Factors like salary compensation, work environment, leadership support, recognition, work-life balance, and chances for career development play an essential role here. In order to explore the sectoral differences in the area, a comparative research method will be employed for studying various aspects of employee productivity within the chosen context. The research design to be applied in this paper is a descriptive research design and the data collection process will include gathering both secondary data (information about employee productivity and job satisfaction) and primary data (employee views on working within a certain organization). Secondary data will be obtained from research papers, journal articles, books, as well as online academic sources, while primary data will be gathered through conducting an employee survey using a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Convenience sampling will be used to select the respondents for the survey. The statistical methods to be employed for testing hypotheses and drawing conclusions are mean analysis, correlation and regression analysis. There are some theories that help to formulate the background for the study including Herzberg's two-factor theory, Vroom's expectancy theory, and job characteristics model. As a result of the analysis it is expected that there will be a positive correlation between employee satisfaction and productivity because employees who receive necessary motivation (in form of good work environment, proper compensation, and development) are likely to show greater commitment towards their jobs and become more productive. It is also expected that there will be some differences between manufacturing and service sector employees in terms of what motivates them to work efficiently.},
