  • Abstract:
  • The increasing demand for natural skincare products has led to the exploration of herbal formulations that are effective, safe, and eco-friendly. This study focuses on the development and evaluation of a herbal skin toner composed of Aloe Vera, Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) extract, rose water, 10dourless, and lemon juice. Each ingredient contributes specific therapeutic properties: Aloe vera provides hydration and anti-inflammatory effects; Tulsi offers antimicrobial and antioxidant benefits; rose water soothes and tones the skin; 10dourless acts as a humectant, enhancing skin moisture retention; and lemon juice aids in skin brightening due to its vitamin C content and astringent nature. The formulation was prepared using standardized extracts and evaluated for physicochemical parameters, stability, and potential dermatological effects. Preliminary results suggest that the toner exhibits good skin compatibility, pleasant sensorial characteristics, and beneficial effects on skin tone and texture. This herbal toner represents a promising alternative to synthetic formulations for daily skincare regimens.
